My Credo
I believe life is for living. The human spirit is capable of amazing things if only we have the vision and courage to try.
Life is difficult, but we can transcend its challenges with the right attitude. The choices we make are the only things we can control, and mastering these is the secret to personal satisfaction.
I believe in having a grand vision for your life. That imagination, creativity, dedication, patience, persistence, perseverance, and dumb luck are how we realize our dreams.
I strive to transcend the status quo. I expect more of myself because I believe I deserve it. I loathe fear, ignorance, mediocrity, and apathy.
I believe the thing we call LIFE is a natural process, neither good nor evil. Just a natural process. I am confident there’s more to life than what I understand, but I’m comfortable with not knowing.
The Unknown makes me feel I’m part of something bigger than myself. I like that. I like not having all the answers and distrust those who claim they do. I love the sense of mystery and adventure life’s uncertainty brings.
I feel alive in the wild, in potentially dangerous situations. I am not afraid of death but hope to die painlessly and peacefully. I hope to pass with enough time and mindfulness to express my gratitude for the chance to live in this world, at this time, with those I’ve known. Most importantly, I hope to have made a positive difference along the way.
